You are invited to participate in our Sewing Bee. Resident designers Erin and Kellie will be on hand to make (and direct us on how to make) the pillowcase skirts. No prior experience is required. Sewing machines, grommets and ribbon as well as beverages and lite bites will be provided.
The skirts, stitched from donated or purchased pillowcases, will be sold in Cottage Industry. Profits from all sales are donated to non-profit SOAR (Speaking Out About Rape) for its national awareness, education and prevention programs.
Join us from 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm on Wednesday, September 12, and be a part of this gathering. We hope this will grow into something we can all learn & share from.
