I'm one of those people that rarely wins a raffle. When we were kids, my sister was the one that always won. Nonetheless, the optimistic side of me always enters - especially when there is a good cause involved. Fellow Virgo, Brian Demeter celebrated his birthday by having a raffle contest for Bimbu's Balloon. A portion of the proceeds also went to the Jane Goodall Institute. What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday!Well, the stars must have aligned because I won the contest. Never say never. I can't wait to get Bimbu framed. I'm thinking of putting him up in the shop where more people can enjoy him.
